Kutsumura group is researching chemical synthesis of small molecules that act in vivo and development of useful chemical reactions to synthesize such compounds. In the synthesis of small molecules acting in vivo, we aim to create “superior molecules” through structure-activity relationship (SAR) study. In the reaction development, we aim to develop novel reaction reagents or synthetic methods that are easily accessible to all researchers.
