筑波大学数理物質系化学域沓村グループ(製薬化学)/国際統合睡眠医科学研究機構(WPI-IIIS)沓村・斉藤研究室(創薬化学)では、オレキシン受容体やオピオイド受容体に作用する新規化合物を設計・合成し、睡眠と覚醒の制御や痛みや鬱の治療など、主に中枢神経系に作用する薬物を標的とした創薬研究を行っています。

Kutsumura/Saito Laboratory(Medicinal Chemistry Group)designs and synthesizes novel compounds that act on the orexin receptors and opioid receptors and conducts drug discovery research targeting drugs that act primarily on the central nervoussystem, such as controlling sleep and wakefulness and treating pain and depression.
